So, when Governor Sonny Perdue in June shared plans for IT3, a new statewide transportation partnership, it was consistent with how we have historically approached our challenges. We roll up our sleeves; and we go to work – together.
As the chairman of the State Transportation Board, I join my colleagues and our Commissioner Gena Abraham, in supporting the vision for IT3. The partnership offers one of the best opportunities yet for us to jointly make our case for investment in the future of transportation in Georgia. And just as we have demonstrated throughout our history, we can achieve success again. The future of our state’s transportation system depends on it.
